Franz Embacher is theoretical physicist. His scientific interests are focused on cosmology, quantum gravity and fundamental issues in quantum theory.

Both are concerned with public education and are collaborators of future media. Verein zur Förderung multimedialer Qualitätsprodukte (Association in support of high-quality standards in the mulitmedia education sector). They also participate in the NetScience project sited at the University of Vienna.
